Our Story

Theresa and Cheryl have been friends for more than 30 years! Theresa owns and runs GiGi's Fancy Fudge and Cheryl owns and runs TX Grounds Coffee. Their adventures in the small business world started out as passion projects that collided because of the perfectly paired fudge and coffee. Theresa and Cheryl ventured out to Canton, TX where they occupied a booth and spent many first Mondays laughing and selling a lot of fudge and coffee! 

The adventure took a leap of faith when the old gas station, candy shop became available by God's grace. Theresa and Cheryl teamed up and renovated the space. They imagined the space and the community that would be able to enjoy their passion projects! They created the space and opened it up for other vendors to share their small business ventures. God worked it out in such a way that each business is women owned and operated. This was just the icing on the cake! 

Market on 8th was a hope and dream turned reality by passion, hard work, and God's gracious, loving hands.
